While we humans have never witnessed such dramatic advances in technology, wealth and connectivity that we are experiencing these days, the figures highlight a stark imbalance—only a few regions worldwide are capitalising on technological growth, thereby creating inequalities in the distribution of opportunities and resources across geographies.
