<description>Empower Women Entrepreneurs from Grassroot to Global with Special Focus to the Micro and Small Enterprises
Bhatia, Rajiv
Covid 19 Pandemic and its aftermath, created a compulsive environment that proliferated several new micro and small enterprises, women entrepreneurs from villages and small towns out of sheer need to augment their family income, which was disrupted. It is the entrepreneurial instinct and activity among Indian women at the grassroots that is exemplary. It is this category of budding entrepreneurs that need special attention of the Policy Makers. to safeguard and strengthen their foundation. Researchers have a critical task to dive deep to understand their real need and not the apparent need e.g. real need being ability to offer collateral for raising funds even to funds are accessible through multiple channels. Needs have to be addressed timely, enabling MSMEs to consolidate their operations and economic fundamentals.
