Micro small and medium enterprise plays a significant role in the Indian economy as It is a growth engine for the country. A large number of businesses and start-ups are dominated by men in India while many Indian women have entrepreneurial ambitions; it is difficult to succeed. The contribution of the MSMEs is increasing continuously in the Indian economy but the contribution of women is not increasing, there are many reasons that resist a woman becoming independent, self-reliant in society. In this paper, an attempt is made to highlight various difficulties that women face in their entrepreneurial journey and how they can cope up with these challenges.
