<title>The Influence of University Support on Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy: An Australian Perspective</title>

<description>The Influence of University Support on Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy: An Australian Perspective
Subhadrammal, Deepa
Despite growth in number of entrepreneurship courses and its influence on entrepreneurial intention, the rate&#13;
of student entrepreneurship seems to be declining. Previous research studies have found that universities can&#13;
be influential in encouraging potential entrepreneurs. Universities provide support to potential entrepreneurs&#13;
in many ways. This can enhance the entrepreneurial self-efficacy of students and consequently, launch a new&#13;
venture. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the significance of university support in enhancing the&#13;
entrepreneurial self-efficacy of students in an Australian context

<description>The Influence of Entrepreneurial Traits and the Location of the Firm on the Success of Microenterprises: Empirical Evidence from Jharkhand State
Nag, Debanjan; Das, Niladri
The purpose of this paper is to provide insights into the relationship between the entrepreneurial traits (need&#13;
for achievement, risk taking propensity and internal locus of control) and the location of the firm on the&#13;
success of microenterprises in the Jharkhand State of India. The primary data was collected from 310 valid&#13;
respondents (active microentrepreneurs) by face-to-face interview using the convenience sampling technique&#13;
in the State of Jharkhand. The relationship between the entrepreneurial traits and perceptual measures of&#13;
business success with the location of the firm was tested. Structural equation modeling was used to identify&#13;
the relationship between the entrepreneurial traits, the location of the firm and business success. The results&#13;
indicated that the three entrepreneurial traits and the location of the firm are positively related to&#13;
microenterprises success.

<title>The Impact of Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurship Intention among Students of Higher Learning Institutions of Middle Gujarat</title>
<link>http://dspace.ediindia.ac.in:8181/xmlui//handle/123456789/5912</link>
<description>The Impact of Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurship Intention among Students of Higher Learning Institutions of Middle Gujarat
Desai, Pranav
The study essentially sought to determine the existence or otherwise of entrepreneurial intentions among the&#13;
students. Sufficient emphasis needs to be placed on entrepreneurship education and practical&#13;
entrepreneurship schemes (such as mentorship programmes, Govt. Support and Loan schemes by Banks) if&#13;
developing countries are to realize the goal of having a productive and virile youth population, which would&#13;
represent a significant shift from today’s yawning youth unemployment position. The study collected data in&#13;
a cross-sectional manner from a random sample of 50 students drawn from a CHARUSAT. In analyzing the&#13;
data, there was recourse to the use of descriptive as well as inferential statistics. Interestingly, results show no&#13;
statistically significant relationships between students’ entrepreneurial intention and selected sociodemographic&#13;
variables such as age, gender, culture, etc. While we acknowledge that the results of this study&#13;
emerged from a sample of 50 students of a particular university and therefore betray the concept of&#13;
generalization, we are equally confident that the findings have significant implications for developing&#13;
economies.

<title>Influence of Personality Traits on Entrepreneurial Performance: Study among Start-ups of Kerala</title>
<link>http://dspace.ediindia.ac.in:8181/xmlui//handle/123456789/5911</link>
<description>Influence of Personality Traits on Entrepreneurial Performance: Study among Start-ups of Kerala
Kumar, T Vinay; Sivakumar, M
The study was conducted among start-up entrepreneurs of Kerala. The objective was to find out how the&#13;
entrepreneurial competencies influence entrepreneurial success. The study had dependent variable as&#13;
entrepreneurial success (Cherukara &amp; Manalel, 2016) and independent variables as the entrepreneurial traits&#13;
(Mansefield, et al, 1987). According to Cherukara &amp; Manalel (2016) entrepreneurial success is constituted by&#13;
economic success, marketing success, success in meeting obligations organisational success and psycho-socio&#13;
satisfaction. Mansefield, et al, (1987) established 13 personality traits determining entrepreneurial success.&#13;
The data was collected using a tool developed by combining the tools of Cherukara &amp; Manalel (2016) and&#13;
Mansefield, et al, (1987). The data was analysed using SPSS for Factor Analysis and Warp PLS for model&#13;
development. The current study found that the dependant variables, Financial, marketing success and Social&#13;
Success were significant. It was also found that the independent variables (1) Sees and Acts on Opportunities,&#13;
(2) Persistence, (3) Information Seeking, (4) Concern for High Quality of Work, (5) Commitment to Work&#13;
Contract, (6) Systematic Planning, (7) Persuasion, and (8) Use of Influence Strategies were found&#13;
significant.
