Women Entrepreneurship Education: A Study of Literature
Pradhan, Kamini
Although women contribute to half the brainpower on earth, they are the most underutilized resource, except
for their involvement in physical labour. Education and training women, whilst empowering them with skills
can help in enterprise development. The government should take the onus of empowering women with skills.
Entrepreneurship as a career is rapidly picking up speed and becoming more and more popular. Several
factors contribute to the emergence of entrepreneurship as a viable career option, including cut throat
competition in jobs as well as economic boom. Further, due to the boom in Indian economy many individuals
have quit their jobs to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations (Loss & Bascunan 2011). This study utilizes
the concept of entrepreneurial attitude to investigate how entrepreneurship education influences women
graduates’ perception and motivations towards entrepreneurship in general and their own entrepreneurial
activities in particular.

The Role of Education in Emerging Start-up Ecosystem: Opportunities, Encouragement and Challenges in Entrepreneurial Journey in India
Sharma, Manoj; Mitra, Anupam
On effective and optimum utilisation of demographic dividend, India as a country can economically grow
very fast but on the contrary it is highly sensitive, risky, devastating and could be turned out to be a
demographic liability if not properly utilised. So there is an utmost need of creation of quality employment
opportunities at mass scale to provide jobs to the trained manpower. The way to create a large number of
quality employment opportunity is to develop a strong Entrepreneurial pool and encourage start-ups and
skilling the youths. The key to develop quality employment opportunities lies on entrepreneurial education
system to cultivate youth entrepreneurs. Most of the kids are born imaginative, energetic, and willing to take
risks, but without entrepreneurial education from the primary education system, the enterprising spirit,
creativity and the ability to think out of the box declines over the period of time and become almost nonexistent
by the time they graduate. In this paper we focus on the role and relation of education with Start-up
ecosystem in developing quality employment opportunities. The research will analyse the Challenges,
opportunities, and encouragements to spot the gap and try to find out the ways and means to develop an
entrepreneurial eco-education system to make more effective contributory education in shaping more creative
youths by changing the mind-set of the societies at large to faster the economic growth of the country.
Descriptive research methodology has been used to find out the necessity of inclusion of entrepreneurial
studies since beginning in the education system. The outcome of the research represents a high correlation
between Entrepreneurship Education and Entrepreneurship development Process.

Strategic Study on Innovation Edupreneurship: A Conceptual Study on Indian Context
G, Hari Sundar; Raj, Praveen; Vijayan, Viji
Every year, lakhs of students ranging from degree courses to Postgraduate courses as well as doctoral
graduates pass out from colleges, universities and a large number of students from schools too, among which
a section does not even take up higher studies. Out of these students, not all students are successful in
earning their livelihood as per the standards of their passed degrees. These less fortunate students simply put
their teachers, colleges, education system responsible for their plight. It is here that we find the real causes of
the plight of these students. Students simply put that many educational institutions grab money from them
without grooming them with appropriate skills to sustain in the market. In addition to this, many students in
the mid of the course discover that they lack the prerequisite skills to get the most of the joined course. This
conceptual paper is a humble attempt wherein the authors have tried to put forth some innovative ideas in the
edupreneurship sectors with respect to the Indian context. The authors have divided the educational process
into five phases based on the level of course, innovative ideas have been suggested.
