| dc.description.abstract | The 2023 Global Startup Ecosystem Report shows that the world’s top ecosystems generated over $7.7 trillion in value, with 53% from just five ecosystems and the remaining 47% from the other twenty-five in the top thirty. While we humans have never witnessed such dramatic advances in technology, wealth and connectivity that we are experiencing these days, the figures highlight a stark imbalance—only a few regions worldwide are capitalising on technological growth, thereby creating inequalities in the distribution of opportunities and resources across geographies. Many regions across the world continue to face major challenges: limited access to education, gender inequalities, wars and the growing threat of climate change. | en_US |
