Post-Programme Report of Case Wriiting Workshop (Organized as part of Case Competition 2026)

Abstract

Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) aims to set up a Case Clearing House to acquire and disseminate quality cases from Indian organizations. The objective is to make these cases instrumental in enhancing the teaching abilities of faculty members and to provide an opportunity to students so they can effectively gain through their experiential practice. Case studies are an indispensable pedagogical tool that motivate and encourage learners in decision making, analysis, illustration, theory demonstration, or description to give a pattern or generalization; depending on the teaching purpose. An accompanying Teaching Note is also one of the most essential and integral dimension of a case study, providing a roadmap for a strategic classroom dissemination. A two days Case Writing Workshop was successfully organized at the EDII campus to provide authors with hands-on mentorship and training, from November 4 to 5, 2025.
