Abstract:
Aluminium Extrusions include products such as bars, pipes and
tubes. Aluminium extruded sections are produced in different
shapes from aluminium alloys in extrusion presses. The extrusion
process has the capability of producing various types of profiles
with tensile strength ranging from 10 kg/mm to 50 kg/mm
depending on the alloy and heattreatment.
Various shapes and
profiles that can be produced through the extrusion process are
angles, flats, rods, strips, hollow tubes, extruded wire etc.
