Abstract:
Due to the ‘ever expanding’ computational needs of the
life sciences industry, especially the drug discovery
companies, the global BioIT
sector has been
witnessing a CAGR of more than 50 percent. The rapid
growth in the sector can be attributed to the enhanced
application of IT, emergence of scalable technologies,
upsurge in the R&D activity and thrust upon R&D
productivity.
