Abstract:
Large global biopharmaceutical
manufacturers producing biogenerics like
erythropotien, insulin, statins, Granulocyte
Colony Stimulating Factor (GCSF), interferon,
growth hormones etc. are now looking at
India as a packaging base. They import bulks
in large quantities from their plants in Europe,
Canada and China etc. and employ the
services of Indian packaging plants to
package these products in dispensable units
(vials, prefilled syringes,etc.).
