With the rapid development of the construction of
Sardar Sarovar Narmada Dam and main canal
throughout the State, it is proposed to promote
canal tourism. In this regard, Government of
Gujarat has proposed to setup
a chain of Global
Village near some of the Narmada Canal crossing
in the State.
