The project entails setting up of a unit for
manufacturing of industrial enzymes derived from
marine organisms. Enzymes produced by marine
bacteria have a range of unique properties. For
instance a particular species Vibrio produces a
variety of extracellular proteases used in
detergents and industrial cleaning applications.
