Gujarat has some of the most advanced ports in the
country. However, the increase in cargo in some of the
major ports has necessitated the up gradation of these
ports. There is a potential to mechanize the cargo
handling process at the upcoming ports in Gujarat
such as Porbandar, Navlakhi, Okha, New Rozi and
Magdalla.
