Abstract

I. Product and its Uses Bicycle dynamo is fitted on bicycle as an accessory. It provides light at night. It generates electricity, and works on the principle of an electric generator. The main parts of a bicycle dynamo are, the outer shell, or stator, armature with commutator and endcap. The dynamo is sold in the market along with reflector head light and tail light assembly. II. Market Potential Bicycle dynamo is essential for the safe riding on the bicycle during night As the bicycles are the simplest and the cheapest mode of transport in rural areas, the demand of same will be increasing and the demand for cycle dynamos will also go up. Ill. Production Targets It is proposed to manufacture 1800 dynamos per month.
