One can definitely highlight that endorsement of village tourism as an entire machine for socio-economic advantages to the rural people, it can additionally be viewed as a multi- sectorial recreation and the industry is affected by means of many different sectors of the nation’s economic system (Kulkarni, 2010). In the recent years rural tourism has developed itself as a major catalyst for the development of new tourism product. But at the same time, it faces some major threats and challenges with the growing demand and lack of sustainable planning. Hence government and private sectors need to make certain healthier linkages and co-ordination for the improvement and growth of the rural areas. The current study is different and focuses more about the sustainable development in the Maharashtra district of India. The study will also try to investigate how Rural tourism can also increase social, cultural and instructional values, and can grant a new dimension for shaping the human resources mainly the younger entrepreneurs.
