Abstract
Creativity, one of the prioritized and desirable entrepreneurial traits is influenced by education.
The role of education in fostering creativity has been known since a very long time and
development of an education culture which nurtures creativity has been the focus. To enroot such a
culture has been the aim of curriculum developers across the globe. This study is an effort to review
the role of education in promoting creativity. Pedagogies which enhance the development of
creativity have also been the concern of various educationists. This study is aimed at presenting
scholarly views held on the subject
