Abstract
Artistic Leather Goods are mainly manufactured in place named Santiniketan in
Birbhum District of West Bengal. Various types of artistic leather goods, so called
Santiniketani leather goods, are manufactured in many places of Birbhum, a district in West
Bengal. These products are produced in micro and small-scale sectors in Birbhum. Apart
from Birbhum, Santiniketani artistic leather goods are also manufactured in few districts of
West Bengal including Kolkata.
