This project profile deals with the manufacture
Of M.S. Sockets only. M.S. Sockets are used
10 join pipes in laying up of long pipe lines
for carrying fluids under high pressure. The
maximum size proposed to be manufactured is
lOO mm.. dia, (Reserve list item No. 378).

There is a substantial market for M.S. pipe
fittings all over the country, because of the increasing
demand by chemical and process industries,
oil installations etc.
