Abstract
The North Eastern States of India including Sikkim are blessed with the bounties of mother
nature. Studies conducted by experts show that more than 300 species of herbs growing in this
region either find a mention in classical books of Ayurveda or used traditionally as remedial
measures to treat various illnesses.
