Abstract
There is a growing movement towards the consumption of herbal produce for
medicinal use and adoption of more natural therapies. The herbal medicinal
products are increasingly being sold as overthecounter
(OTC) product in the
various regions of the Country.
Some of the major factors driving the demand are:
Increasing awareness about adverse effects of synthetic drugs, such as
steroids, antibiotic,
pain killers.
