Abstract

Garments are classified into woven and knitted wears. Woven fabrics are generally used for the manufacture of structured garments whereas knitted fabrics are generally used for the manufacture of informal/casual wears. Knitted garments are getting wider acceptance because of its easy care and cheapness. Among various types of knitwears, T-Shirts are considered as item of mass consumption and choice of modern society.
