Abstract
An electric motor converts electricity into mechanical
motion. Electric motors are devices with numerous
applications ranging from simple domestic electric
appliances to heavyduty
machines in various industries.
Industrial motors are used to power table saws, band saws,
drill presses, air compressors, jointers, lathes, shapers,
and so on.
